The Sunbeam 3 1/2HP Motor Bicycle's original sale price in 1914 was 95 guineas but this soon rose to 171 guineas. The press considered that they were amongst the most handsome machines on the road and the 3½ hp. single was described as the Rolls Royce of singles.
