Lovebirds are affectionate and monogamous parrots. Paired birds spend much of their time sitting on branches together. The term lovebird originates from the Greek word Agapornis; agape “love” and ornis “bird”. This pair looking adoringly at each other are from a misericord in Wells Cathedral. A misericord is a small decorative carving found on the underside of folding seats in church.

Fixing Points: the hole at the top of the tile. Suitable for outdoor use.
