Stages Of Life Card

Adapted and translated from a French Image d’Épinal print, popular in the early 19th century. Each step represents a different decade in life, beginning from ‘adolescence’ at 10 years through ‘maturity’ at 40 years to ‘idiocy’ at 100 years. The couple on the top step are 50 years old, the pinnacle of life? Blank inside.

Printed with vegetable-based inks on a carbon neutral press using responsibly sourced, acid free Italian paper. Individually wrapped in a compostable bag, with a 120gsm recycled kraft envelope.
