A fine quality card adapted from 'Some Account of the Beard and the Moustachio', chiefly from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century, John Repton (1839). The reverse of the card features the article ‘Reasons for wearing a Moustache’, taken from an undated newspaper clipping glued to the inside cover of the book. Wellcome Collection.
